Applicants must be residents of West Islip who plan on attending college or technical school in the upcoming fall.
Applicants must be enrolled in or accepted to a two or four-year college, technical school, or in a certificate program on a full-time or part-time basis.
Selection will be based on the applicant’s educational and occupational goals and extra-curricular activities, regardless of race, sex, or religion.
The application form must include the applicant’s high school or college transcript showing grades and grade point average.
The application form must also include a letter of recommendation from the applicant’s school advisor.
Scholarship winners will be made by the West Islip Chamber scholarship committee.
Students must apply no later than May 19 , 2023
The committee will make the presentation of the scholarship before graduation.
